Reasonable refers to fair or appropriate, service is an act of serving or form of worship.

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect [Rom. 12:1-2].

What is a reasonable service/worship to God?

1. Living sacrifice

Sacrifice is to give something up, something that is of value. Sacrifice could also be seen as a form of worship, worshiping God instead of Satan can be accepted by God as worship and personal sacrifice for sin.

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

#Fasting and Praying is seen as a spiritual sacrifice.

2. Holy

1 Pet 2:5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Pet 1:15-16 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

1 Thes. 2:10 You are witnesses, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers.

Col 1:22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,

3. Pleasing/ acceptable to God

Rom. 14:18 Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men.

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,
